Where do you deliver and is there a minimum order?
We deliver to Asheville, Fletcher, Hendersonville, and Black Mountain on Wednesdays. Orders must be placed by Monday 5pm.
We deliver to the Asheville area on Fridays. Orders must be placed by Wednesday 5pm.
The minimum order is $100, orders smaller than that will incur a $20 delivery fee.
Do you ship?
We ship FedEx Express Monday - Thursday. Orders placed after 2pm on Wednesday will be shipped on Monday.
We ship FedEx Ground Wednesdays only. If you'd like to utilize Ground Shipping rates, please submit your order by Monday 5pm.
Do you distribute?
We work with the following distributors: Regional Goods, Mountain Food Products, Happy Dirt, Blue Mountain Distributors, P10 Foods, Gourmet Foods International.
Please note, not all products listed on our wholesale list may be available via distribution.
How are your shipped products packaged?
All of our products utilize recyclable containers so go ahead and put them in the recycling bin after you've enjoyed the cheese!
We ship our orders in insulated boxes with gel packs that will keep the box at refrigerated temperatures for quite a long time. We thoroughly test them in all seasons across all climates.
Keep in mind that it is normal for the gel packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. This is because they release cold air into the box as they melt. The cold air does dissipate quickly when you open the box, so you should transfer the cheeses to the fridge immediately.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Here is how to recycle and dispose of packaging materials:
Boxes - Break down the box and place it curbside with your recycling.
Insulation - We’ve chosen the most environmentally sustainable and functional packaging material available! Our shipping insulators are certified compostable in backyard and industrial facilities and can even be dissolved in a sink for safe and easy disposal.
Gel packs - The gel packs are non-toxic and reusable! The contents of our gel packs are made of a non-toxic polymer and 99% water. You can dispose of them in the trash. To avoid clogging your pipes, please don’t put the contents of the ice packs in your sink or toilet. If you’d like, you can also donate them locally to a Local Food Bank, Meals on Wheels, Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts of America.

My gel packs were not fully frozen upon arrival. Are the products food safe?
It’s normal for the gel packs to be slightly melted by the time they arrive. They release cold air into the box as they melt. The insulation we use keeps our boxes (and the contents within) at refrigerated temperatures for a long time. We’ve thoroughly tested them in all seasons and across all climates.
The cold air does dissipate quickly when you open the box though, so you should transfer your products to the fridge immediately.
Products should arrive at a temperature of 41 degrees Fahrenheit or below. If your products arrive above this temperature, please discard and contact our Customer Experience Team.
Do you deliver to my zip code?
We deliver to all 48 contiguous states and Alaska! So, if you reside in the USA, and you don't live in Hawaii—We can have products delivered to you!
What time of day will my order be delivered and do I need to be there to receive it?
The delivery window for our carrier is from 8 AM to 8 PM on delivery day. You must be open and able to receive your product at the time of delivery.
We do our very best to communicate shipment expected arrival with our accounts by including a tracking number at the time of shipment.
Our policy is to hold all liability for orders until they are delivered on time. "On Time", as defined by our insured shipping platform, is guaranteed by the end of the next business day. For orders not delivered by the end of the next business day, we are able to file a claim with our shipping platform in order to reimburse our customers.
FedEx and Darë Vegan Cheese can not be liable for any interruption of delivery service due to a cause beyond its control, including but not limited to, the absence of a person or the refusal of such person of accepting the delivery of the shipment.
