Shipping policy

We take great care to make sure your cheeses arrive fresh, chilled, and ready to enjoy. Below you'll find everything you need to know about how we ship.

Shipping Rates & Timing

Our shipping rates come from a special partnership with a third-party carrier that specializes in cold-chain delivery. This allows us to get your cheeses to you safely and as affordably as possible. Please note that rates and delivery estimates may change as we adapt to carrier schedules and seasonal conditions.

Delivery Delays & Lost Packages 

Once your order is in the hands of our shipping partners, we unfortunately can't control unexpected delays or lost packages. If your delivery is delayed and your products are damaged as a result, or if your package goes missing, please contact the carrier directly to file a claim. 

You're also welcome to reach out to us at orders@darevegancheese.com, and we'll do our best to guide you through the process. Be sure to save your packaging and any damaged goods before filing a claim.

Because our products are perishable, we can't accept returns. But if you no longer wish to keep an item, please discard it responsibly.

Packaging & Product Care

We use insulated boxes and gel packs to maintain a safe, refrigerated temperature during transit. It's normal for the gel packs to melt. This simply means they've done their job keeping your cheeses cool! 

Each box is tested to perform well across seasons and climates, ensuring your cheeses stay fresh and safe on arrival. Products should arrive at or below 41 degrees Fahrenheit. Since the cold dissipates quickly when the box is opened, we recommend moving everything to your fridge right away.

Even if the surface of the cheese doesn't feel cold to the touch, the internal temperature is typically still within the safe range. If you'd like to double-check, you can use a food grade thermometer. If your cheese arrives above 41 degrees Fahrenheit, please discard it and contact us at orders@darevegancheese.com.

Receiving Your Delivery

We provide tracking information as soon as your order ships. Because our cheeses are perishable, please plan to collect your delivery promptly. 

If you won't be home when it arrives, consider asking a friend or neighbor to receive it, or leave a cooler with ice packs in a shaded area. Once your order has been delivered, it's the recipient's responsibility to keep the cheese properly refrigerated.

P.O. Boxes

At this time, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes.
