Cheesemaking is an ancient art form. At Darë, we carry that tradition forward with a new twist.

Step One:
Source with Care
Every wheel, wedge, and spread begins with simple, intentional ingredients. We choose Non-GMO cashews and low-carb coconut milk for their natural creaminess and their ability to hold bold, complex flavors.

Step Two:
Culturing the Base
Live, active cultures are the heart of our process. They make cheese whiz-ardry and make your belly happier than dairy cheese by supporting your gut with probiotics.

Step Three:
Brie-yond Ordinary Flavors
We then blend our cashew-base with bold, unexpected flavors that (if we can be a bit biased) transform Darë cheese into culinary masterpieces.

Step Four:
Finishing Flourishes
When the wheels are wheely ready, we add final flourishes. The unmistakable fig swirl, a shortcake crumble, the lusty mustard spicy sprinkle, making it ready to shine on any board or table.

Handpacked with Love
No big machines or robots here. Just a friendly bunch of Darë-loving folk that handcraft and package everything in our facility, "The House of Cheese", in Asheville, NC.
