A good lunchbox recipe has two critical jobs: survive a backpack and actually get eaten.
Sounds simple. Harder to pull off five days a week.
August around here is about everyday wins, real food for real life. So, we pulled together 5 recipes that keep it simple. They’re quick to make and easy to pack. And good enough that the grown-ups keep stealing bites, too.
Here's what's going in the rotation this month.
1. Cheesy Veggie Snack Wraps
Five minutes. No cooking. Tortilla, crunchy veggies, and slices of our Pepperjack, rolled into cute little pinwheels your kid will actually want to open at lunch.
Roll a batch on Sunday, slice them the morning of, and mornings get a whole lot easier. That’s a wrap, if you will.

2. The Crowd-Pleasing Back to School Snack Board
This might be for a first-day-of-school celebration or just a Tuesday where three extra kids showed up after practice, but either way, a snack board saves you.
Build it around our Lusty Mustard and Smoked Pimento, both flavorful enough to hold their own next to crackers, pretzels, and whatever fruit is hanging out in the crisper.
No cooking here either. Just slice, arrange, and let the kids build their own plates.

3. Pimento Cheese Scallion Biscuits
A plant-based twist on the Southern classic, our Smoked Pimento gets baked right into the dough for real cheesy depth, no dairy required.
Make a batch the night before and breakfast is basically solved. They hold up well cold, so they're just as good stuffed straight into a lunchbox.
30 minutes, start to finish. Twelve biscuits ready to support a grate start to the week!

4. Strawberry Oatmeal Bars
One bowl, real strawberries, and a scoop of our Original Cream Cheese folded into the crumble for a soft, rich bite. No refined sugar for a wholesome dessert that won’t support an after-lunch crash in math class.
These freeze well, so a Sunday batch turns into two weeks of grab-and-go breakfasts or after-school snacks.
Naturally gluten-free, and sturdy enough to survive a backpack without turning to crumbs by lunchtime.

5. Peanut Butter Chocolate Cookies
Soft, chewy, and loaded with dark chocolate chunks, these cookies get their tender texture from a scoop of our Original Cream Cheese in the dough.
Naturally gluten-free thanks to oat flour, and easy enough that a kid could actually help make them (ask us how we know).
Pack a couple in Friday's lunchbox as an actual reward for surviving the week. For both of you.

Real food, actually finished
None of these needed a Pinterest board or a 6am meltdown to pull off. That's the whole point of Everyday Wins: good food that fits into an actual week.
