THE RECIPE: 

Super bowl Vegan Buffalo Dip with Darë dairy-free smoked cheddar

Serves: 6-8 

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 5 minutes 

Ingredients: 

1 15-oz. can can chickpeas, drained and rinsed

Smoked Cheddar Wedge (shredded or crumbled)

½ cup Buffalo sauce

 

For Topping:

Vegan yogurt

Diced Chives

 

For Serving:

Celery/carrots/chips

 

Directions: 

Add the drained and rinsed chickpeas to a high speed blender and pulse until they are broken apart but not puréed. Set aside.

Add in the Smoked Cheddar Wedge to a large pot over medium low heat. Heat the pot for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese wedge is completely melted. Add in the buffalo sauce and minced chickpeas and stir everything to combine until and you have a warm thick dip. 

Transfer the dip to a bowl and top with vegan yogurt and diced chives. Serve with sliced carrots, celery, and chips of your choice. Game on!

Store leftover Buffalo Dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in the microwave before serving.
